Everyday Bombshell (+ Jacked-up Bangs)

Please raise your hand if you're completely sick of winter. Hands? Yes, that's what I thought. When the winter blues get to me, I want to re-arrange my furniture, buy hot pink lipstick and bangs! Bangs would be a great idea, right? Yes. And I must have them now. Now! Forget the fact that I could be one phone call & about 12 hours from having my amazing hairstylist cut them for me. I should cut myself some bangs. Now! And then I end up with this:



Thankfully, I do like the bangs in theory. And once my amazing stylist (who laughed when I admitted what I'd done. With kitchen scissors. After drinking some wine.)fixes them up for me I'm sure I'll be thrilled with the change.

Until then, I'm just trying to dress as cute as possible in fun prints to detract from the jacked up bang situation. Kimberly sent me a big swap box of clothes and accessories which has gone a really long way in helping me through the winter doldrums. She included this really cute dress which felt sort of mod print to me. The green drop necklace complimented that 1960's vibe. See? You're not even looking at the bangs. (I hope)
