Everyday Bombshell

I mentioned a few weeks ago in a guest blog post for Sealed with a Kiss that I'm dedicated to not falling into the black trap this fall/winter.  Last year, I wore sooo much black!  And you know what?  I felt a little gloomier for it.  Now that's not to say that black and other dark neutrals are banned from my wardrobe.  Not at all.  But I'm stocking up on a few colorful pieces to set off dark counterparts.

I came to another realization lately- I've accidentally adopted as a signature look the whole belt-over-a-sweater thing.  I really like the way my clothes look with the added shape of a belt to define my waist.  But I'm a little tired of belting over sweaters.  So I'm going to try a few other variations, like belting under a cardigan.  It creates a similar effect without feeling monotonous.

The Outfit:
Beaded necklace -   Lia Sophia
Gray Emmylou Tunic- c/o Sealed with a Kiss
Jeweled buckle belt- Gap Outlet
Turquoise ruffled cardigan- The Limited
Black leggings- Avenue
Ballet flats- Payless
