Everyday Bombshell- NEW from LucieLu

One of my all-time favorite plus size brands, LucieLu, sent me a few fun items to wear and share with you guys.  I'd intended to debut this one on my next Twin Cities Live segment, but between my producer's maternity leave and my new job, the dates for that have become a little sketchy.  Basically, I didn't want to wait.

Ignore the fact that my hair looks weird, here.

I was thrilled to receive this dress because its a relaunch of one of my first (and favorite) LucieLu dresses from a couple years ago.  Here's the original version, paired with leggings a blazer:

Ooooh, bangs!  No, bad Sara.  Don't get bangs again.

So anyway - the new version has some updates like a longer length and pockets which, come on.  Love pockets. Great addition.  I checked the LucieLu website and it doesn't look like this new dress has launched quite yet.  But when it does, I'll let you know.   In the meantime, LucieLu's huge summer sale is still going strong - up to 75% off.  So check that out.    I scored this dress and love the heck out of it.

Check out that lace detail.  It's so pretty!

Ugh, these shoes.  Let me tell you about these shoes...

My feet are huge.  You guys know this.  You also know that I'm one of the only plus size women in the world (probably) who doesn't like shoes.  They're so hard to fit.  But I was really jazzed for a really long time about shoes from the Comfortview brand by Jessica London.  They were stylish, affordable and fit my big sled feet.  Well, they WERE all of these things.

Lately, the shoes I've ordered from Comfortview have been inconsistently sized - way too big (like this pair) or way too small (like a few I'll be giving to my mom the next time I see her).  I was able to wear this pair of ultra-cute sandals from my apartment to the parking garage, from my office parking garage to my desk...and then they were done.  Couldn't handle them literally slipping off my feet.  So I had to swap them for another pair of Comfortview shoes...that were so uncomfortable last week I kicked them off under the desk and slipped on a pair of flats that were in my purse.

No flats in the purse today.  So I had to swap the uncomfortable shoes for another pair of uncomfortable shoes.  Stupid shoes.
