During Fashion's Night Out, I was over at a really superb boutique in Edina called Corset. Click here for a refresher on the evening. One of the highlights was meeting Jen Scheffler, the designer behind local jewelry line Realia by Jen.
Jen provided all of the jewelry that was worn during the runway show that night. She designed pieces specifically for the outfits that were showcased- like this amazing hammered metal bracelent and the gorgeous chandelier earrings that I wore. They off-set the blue Igigi dress perfectly.
Elizabeth Ries, co-host of Twin Cities Live, showcased a really cool pendant necklace and a bracelet from Realia by Jen. She also told me that she's working with Jen to create completely unique, personalized pieces of jewelry made from jewelry that Elizabeth doesn't wear anymore. Now that's my kind of recycling!
A third model, also named Sarah (if I recall correctly...and if that's not right - I'm sorry!) wore the most stunning necklace on the runway. We all ooohed and ahhed over this one, right up until someone bought it right off her neck.
Realia by Jen is a line of beautifully designed jewelry that's unique and affordable. I'm looking forward to adding a few pieces to my own collection.
