Resolved- Get New Jewelry!

The closest thing I came to in making any resolutions for 2013 was the decision that I'd start making more of an effort in accessorizing my outfits.  And what better way to kick start that decision than to buy some new jewelry?  Here are a few new pieces that I've picked up or been given over the past few weeks.

Realia by Jen is a fantastic jewelry line crafted by a local artist, Jen Sheffler.  I first learned about Realia earlier this fall, when I worked with Corset Boutique on Fashion's Night Out.  Jen provided all the jewelry that the models wore in the fashion show, and I was completely floored by her creations.  I bought this anchor necklace and this pair of earrings during the Realia by Jen sample sale a few weeks ago.
I met Jen before Christmas and found her to be as genuine and creative as the jewelry she makes.  She works hard and loves what she does, which I find to be incredibly inspiring.  Jen was kind enough to give me this pair of hammered metal medallion earrings when got together.

Most Ridic gave me this necklace for Christmas, which I've already featured a few times in outfits here on the blog.  I love the color and the texture that this piece lends to the most basic of pieces.  He bought it at a local chain of boutiques called Patina.

Also from Patina, I bought this pretty blue teardrop necklace for myself.  I don't have anything that looks even remotely like this, and it adds such a great pop of color and visual interest to almost any outfit.

Did you make any fashion or style-related resolutions for the new year?  If so, how are you doing on implementing the resolution so far?
